Privacy policy

Account details. Your email address, and the sign-in identifier from Google if you sign in that way. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we never see or store your password.

What you type in. The job advertisements you paste, the background and profile details you enter, and the documents generated from them.

Billing details. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment and stores your card. We receive only a customer reference and your subscription status — never your card number.

Usage data. Page views and product events, but only if you accept analytics cookies. We deliberately exclude the contents of your job ads, CVs, and letters from analytics and from our error reports.

To write your document, the job advertisement and background details you provide are sent to the Claude API, operated by Anthropic, which generates the result and returns it to us. That transfer is necessary to provide the service you asked for.

We do not use your content to train any model, and we do not sell it or share it with advertisers.

Documents you generate stay in your account until you delete them or close your account, so you can come back to them. Delete an individual document at any time from your dashboard.

Documents generated without an account are held for 30 days so they can be unlocked if you sign up, and are then removed.

Closing your account deletes your profile and documents. Records we are legally required to retain, such as payment records, are kept for as long as the law requires.

Essential. A sign-in session cookie, and a cookie recording your cookie choice. These are always set, because the site cannot work without them.

Analytics. PostHog, and advertising cookies where ads are shown. These are set only after you press Accept, and never if you decline. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to processing, or receive it in a portable format. Email [contact email — to be supplied before launch] and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

If this policy changes materially, we will say so on this page and update the date above before the change takes effect.
